In a disturbing incident at a Junagadh hostel in Gujarat, four Class 12 students brutally assaulted a fellow student with kicks and slaps inside a hostel room on July 26th, following a Kabaddi-related altercation the previous day. The assailants also recorded the assault and shared the video with a relative. The victim's father learned of the incident nearly a month later, after which a formal complaint was lodged. A case has been registered under the Juvenile Justice Act, and a special committee has been set up to investigate the matter.
