Clashes In Kashmir's Anantnag After Eid Prayers
Clashes broke out in Anantnag after Eid prayers. A group of youth threw stones on security forces. Police chased stone throwers and controlled the situation. Other than the isolated incident in Anantnag, the situation in Kashmir remained largely peaceful. No Eid congregational prayers were allowed at Jamia masjid in Srinagar and Eidgah in Srinagar. People also offered prayers in neighbourhood mosques.
