Alleging that politicians accused of corruption when they join BJP are quickly absolved of the charges, the AAP ran a campaign displaying the "clean washing machine of the BJP". The party cited the examples of Himanta Biswa Sarma and Ajit Pawar. Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, along with Lok Sabha Candidate Somnath Bharti, showed BJP's magic. They put corrupt opposition leaders inside the machine, and took out corruption-free BJP leaders from the other side.
