'China Preparing For War, Government Is Sleeping': Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday accused the government of downplaying the threat posed by China, saying Beijing was preparing for war but Prime Minister Narendra Modi's administration was "sleeping", days after a clash between troops of the two countries along the de facto border in Arunachal Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called upon Russian President Vladimir Putin, and reiterated his call for dialogue and diplomacy as "the only way forward" in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the government said. The two leaders spoke over a phone call.
