Chidambaram On INDIA Bloc | Chinks In Team INDIA's Armour?
At the launch of a book - 'Contesting Democratic Deficit', co-authored by the Congress' Salman Khurshid - his party colleague and senior leader Mr Chidambaram confessed uncertainty over the fate of the INDIA bloc. Soon after the BJP latched on to the comments -calling it confession- Rajeev Chandrasekhar, former Union Minister and the BJP's new Kerala unit chief weighed in, calling the bloc a "motley collection" that came together only because of their "love for corruption". Uncertainty in the India bloc is a statement of fact many would say. The warning comes months before a set of critical state polls that will re-shape the country's political landscape.
