Chhattisgarh To Set Up Probe Unit On Lines Of Anti-Terror Agency NIA

The Vishnu Deo Sai-led cabinet has decided to constitute a State Investigation Agency (SIA) for speedy and effective investigation and prosecution in special cases related to terrorism and Left Wing Extremism in the state. The SIA will act as the state's nodal agency for coordination with the National Investigation Agency (NIA). A total of 74 new posts, including that of superintendent of police, will be created for the SIA, said the government in a statement.
