Carols, Kids & Christmas Cheer | Chennai Rings in the Season with ‘Sounds of the Season’
Chennai welcomed the Christmas season with its first carols “Sounds of the Season”, held at the Museum Theatre. Curated by Atul Isaac for the Madras Guild of Performing Arts, the concert featured both adult and junior ensembles, with the children’s choir SHORTZ drawing special attention. From solemn traditional carols to lively, fun numbers, the evening celebrated the joy and meaning of Christmas. Young singers spoke about months of practice, teamwork and performing confidently alongside senior choristers. NDTV’s Sam Daniel caught up with the performers and mentors as music and cheer filled the city.
