Clarifications show that bank licence will be a tough call for NBFCs, and with several questions left unanswered, new bank licences are to remain subjective. Shinjini Kumar, director of PricewaterhouseCoopers, says she believes there is clarity now on the holding company structure, which addresses a key concern among banking hopefuls.
