Sanjeev M Nimkar, vice president and business head, Kirloskar Oil Engines, says that confirming to the new pollution norms have increased their costs and margins could be hurt for the next couple of months. However, this has reduced competition from Chinese and unorganised brands and they are hopeful of increasing their sales to new export markets like Europe, he adds.
