Industry Body COAI Writes To Telecom Department: Sources

The government has asked telecom operators to provide "voluminous" call data records (CDRs) of all mobile subscribers across several regions for specific days, according to sources. Industry body Cellular Operators' Association of India (COAI) has escalated the issue in a letter to Department of Telecommunications (DoT) Secretary Anshu Prakash, they add.
