ICAI asks firms to disclose forex derivative losses

As India Inc prepares itself to announce its fourth quarter results next month the apex accounting body Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has asked companies to disclose all losses on derivative contracts. ICAI asks companies to provide "Mark to Market" losses on profit and loss account. It has also asked financial auditors to mention losses from forex derivatives on balance sheet.
