30% cut in spectrum reserve price not enough: Industry body

While the government has accepted a 30 per cent cut in base spectrum fee, Rajan Mathews, director general of industry body COAI, feels that it may not be enough to bring about willing participation in the auction. He also strongly objects to the government making it mandatory for incumbent telecom players to bid in the auctions, calling the move coercive.
