Bus Accident | A Bus Carrying 21 Passengers Plunges Into River, Leaving 1 Dead In Ankola
A tragic accident took place near Agasur in Ankola taluk, Uttara Kannada district, when a private bus traveling from Yellapur to Mangaluru plunged off a bridge into a river along National Highway 63. The incident claimed the life of one passenger, while five others sustained serious injuries. There were 21 people on board at the time. Those who have sustained serious injuries have been rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru, and those with minor injuries were treated at Ankola Taluk Hospital. Ankola police with the help of locals used a crane to recover the body of the deceased person using a crane.
