BRICS 2026 | PM Modi Calls For Replacing ‘Pyramid Of Privilege’ With ‘Platform Of Partnership’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for the Global South to become a “rule-shaper” and urged the existing “pyramid of privilege” in global governance to give way to a “platform of partnership” at the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi. Modi also unveiled a 10-point roadmap for global governance reform and proposed a “Seafarers’ Emergency Support Network” to assist sailors facing risks during global and regional crises. He called for a new and ambitious BRICS agenda for the next 20 years.
