Chinese CGTN journalist Li Jingjing speaking to NDTV said BRICS should not be viewed as an anti-West bloc, but as a platform giving greater representation to the Global South. He described BRICS as a “win-win cooperation” and said the grouping is bringing developing countries’ voices and demands to the international stage. The journalist also welcomed the recent India-China border talks, saying both sides are seeking to resolve disputes through dialogue and have agreed to expand border trade and direct flights. He said there is significant potential for stronger cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.
