Boats Capsize In Dal Lake Due To Strong Winds, 20 Tourists Rescued

Several shikaras overturned in Srinagar's Dal Lake on Friday due to strong winds. The Srinagar River Police swung into action and rescued 20 tourists. "Winds were very strong due to which several shikaras lost balance and capsized. Our teams were stationed nearby, so we rescued as many as 20 tourists," police officer Mansha Singh told NDTV. The tourists were in the middle of Dal Lake when the strong winds hit them.
