Trinamool Congress lawmaker Derek O'Brien has alleged that the BJP is "using its cyber army to fan the fire" over the mob violence in Kaliachak in West Bengal's Malda, with 100 days to go till state polls. Insisting that there is no minority appeasement by the Mamata Banerjee government, Mr O'Brien said that the violence in Kaliachak was a criminal incident. Mr O'Brien also denied that his party had anything to do with the criminal elements. The BJP alleges that Trinamool is trying to protect the accused because they are aligned to the ruling party.
