BJP Targets Incoming Keralam Government Over Alleged SDPI, Jamaat Links
The political atmosphere in Kerala has intensified ahead of the swearing-in of Chief Minister-designate VD Satheesan, with the BJP launching a fresh attack on the incoming UDF government. Rajeev Chandrasekhar alleged that forces such as SDPI and Jamaat-e-Islami were influencing the new government, claiming such organisations should not be “mainstreamed” in Kerala politics. He said the functioning of the new administration would need close scrutiny in the coming months.
