BJP Serves Legal Notice To Omar Abdullah Over 'Operation Lotus' Claims
The BJP has served a legal notice to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah over his allegations that the party attempted to bribe National Conference (NC) legislators with cash and ministerial positions under an alleged "Operation Lotus." Omar Abdullah had claimed that NC MLAs were offered ₹30 crore each to switch sides. The BJP has denied the allegations and demanded that he substantiate his claims.
