BJP Hits Out At Rahul Gandhi Over Silence On FlyDubai's 'Hero' Captain Smit Machchhar
The BJP has attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over what it calls his silence on Captain Smit Machchhar, who was injured while allegedly thwarting an attack on a FlyDubai flight bound for Israel. BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari claimed that more than 90 hours after the incident, neither Rahul Gandhi nor Sonia Gandhi had publicly praised the captain. The BJP has contrasted this with their past reactions to other politically sensitive cases and accused Congress of selective outrage. Congress’s response to the allegations is awaited.
