BJP blocks trains in Bihar to push demand for special status
The Centre's announcement of special status to Seemandhra - the region of Andhra Pradesh that will form the residuary state once Telangana is carved out - has evoked sharp reactions cutting across party lines in Bihar. The Bihar BJP has organised a Rail Roko agitation today to demand special category status for the state. Many Express and local trains are stopped at different stations across the state because of the protest. (Read more)
