Bird flu affects half of Bengal
The bird flu has spread even further in West Bengal and has now been confirmed in Hooghly and Cooch Behar districts.This raises the total number of districts affected by the outbreak to nine.On Sunday, January 13 the deadly virus was detected in Birbhum district. Two days later on January 15, two other districts South Dinajpur and Murshidabad confirmed the virus.
