'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' Chants Echo As Aditya-L1 Lifts Off

A huge crowd chanted "Bharat Mata ki jai" as ISRO's PSLV rocket carrying the Aditya-L1 lifted off from Sriharikota today. Aditya-L1 is India's first solar mission. It will be placed in the halo orbit around the Lagrange Point 1 (L1) of the Sun-Earth system, which is about 1.5 million km from the Earth.
