Tension flared in Bengaluru after stones were allegedly pelted at an Om Shakti religious procession under the JJ Nagar police station limits. A woman was injured in the incident and taken to hospital. Police say an FIR has been registered and four to five minors, aged between 14 and 16, have been identified and detained in connection with the stone pelting. Karnataka Home Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan confirmed that the minors have been produced before the Juvenile Justice Board and action is being taken as per law. The incident has triggered a political row, with the BJP accusing the Congress-led state government of failing to maintain law and order, while authorities maintain that the situation is under control and further investigation is underway.
