The Trinamool Congress has alleged that party chief and former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was prevented from visiting a rape victim in Baruipur. According to the TMC, heavy police deployment and barricades were placed outside Mamata Banerjee's Kalighat residence ahead of her planned visit.
