Bangalore shops fear drop in chicken sales

The impact of bird flu is not so apparent on restaurants in Bangalore. But chicken shop owners in the city are concerned about the sharp drop in sales that could force them to slash prices. "The sales have gone down by 40-50 per cent but we are not reducing our prices yet," said Abdul Rashid, chicken shop owner.
