The Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka is believed to have more than 100 tigers. Part of the Nilgiri biosphere, this park is contiguous with the Nagarahole, Wayanad and Mudumalai forests - making this the area with the most wild tigers in the whole world. Until now, there was no veterinary doctor posted here full time - but that has just changed. Maya Sharma reports from Bandipur.
