Band, baaja, baraat? Not for elections in Rajasthan

The election season in Rajasthan coincides with the wedding season, but if poll candidates try to use one for the other, it's their funeral, says the Election Commission. In guidelines to all political parties, the Rajasthan poll panel has said if a candidate is caught campaigning for the December 1 polls at weddings or similar functions, the cost of the entire event will be counted as their poll expense.
