"Bad Planning, Corruption": Man Who Predicted Mumbai Billboard Tragedy
Author Amitav Ghosh said bad planning and corruption are behind the billboard tragedy in Mumbai that killed 14 people. Mr Ghosh, in his book eight years ago, had warned how the Maximum City's billboards will become "deadly projectiles" if a cyclone strikes. The book was 'The Great Derangement: Climate Change and the Unthinkable'. He also says such hoardings will lead to more disaster if a cyclone hits Mumbai.
