Azam Khan University | Azam Khan's Jauhar University Gets Demolition Order For 38 Buildings

The Rampur Development Authority has ordered the demolition of 38 out of 40 buildings at Mohammad Azam Khan's Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar University, alleging they were constructed without approved maps. The university has been given 15 days to carry out the demolition itself, failing which the RDA will take action. The district administration has also set up a counseling center for students, while Azam Khan's wife Dr. Tazeen Fatima visited the campus and questioned the deployment of police inside the university premises. Rampur District Magistrate Ajay Kumar Dwivedi said that the university buildings were constructed in Singankhera village, which falls under the RDA area. During the investigation, it was found that the construction had been carried out without permission.
