Australia ex PM Tony Abbott On Ties With India, Adani-Hindenburg Row And Quad

Former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said both India and Australia want to substitute China on trade and should continue to work together for a reliable partnership. While rooting for the Quad, he called Xi Jinping "the father of the grouping" as it was Xi, according to Mr Abbott, who pushed India, Japan, Australia and the US to come together in the Indo-Pacific. On the Hindenburg Research's allegations of fraud against the Adani group, Mr Abbott said market regulators will look into it and one is innocent till proven guilty.
