At Shah's South CMs' Meet, Vijay Pushes For Fairer Federalism, Equitable NEET And Delimitation

Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a key meeting with southern Chief Ministers, with Karnataka CM D.K. Shivakumar and Tamil Nadu CM Vijay seated alongside each other. During the meeting, Vijay raised several concerns affecting southern states, including the need for fairer fiscal federalism, equitable access to medical education through NEET, adherence to the rule of law in inter-state water disputes and protection of southern states' political representation in Parliament amid the delimitation debate.
