Assam Polls | "Coalition Consists Congress, Assam Jatiya Parishad, CPM, CPI MP, APHLC": Gaurav Gogoi

Assam Congress President Gaurav Gogoi said the opposition alliance in the state currently includes the Indian National Congress, Assam Jatiya Parishad, Communist Party of India (Marxist), Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation and Autonomous State Demand Committee. He said efforts are underway to expand the coalition ahead of the upcoming elections. Gogoi added that talks are ongoing with Raijor Dal to further strengthen the alliance. He emphasised that there is a demand for a united opposition in Assam and said discussions will be taken forward with the party’s national leadership.
