In a significant breakthrough in the alleged sexual abuse case at a private residential madrassa for girls in Assam's Bongaigaon district, police have arrested the prime accused, madrassa teacher Aminul Islam, after he remained on the run for two days. Sources in the Bongaigaon Police told NDTV that the accused was apprehended following an intensive manhunt launched after the allegations surfaced.
