India’s women’s kabaddi team secured gold at the Asian Games 2026, with captain Ritu Negi speaking about the team’s campaign, unity and her experience of being part of two gold medal-winning campaigns. She also spoke about the need for kabaddi to be included in the Olympics and called for a women’s kabaddi league. Pinky Roy also recalled special moments from the campaign and spoke about her experience with the team. Eight of the 12 players were Asian Games debutants as India clinched gold in women’s kabaddi.
