ASBA mandatory for non-retail investors from May: Sebi

Market regulator SEBI has made AS-BA, Application Supported by Blocked Amount, mandatory for institutional investors from May 1. SEBI has also made a recommendation for amendment in the Companies Act where an investor with a vested interest should be barred from voting on the same issue.
