Arunachal Floods: Man Crosses Hanging Bridge Amid Torrential Rain, Flood

Northeast Floods: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju issued "remain careful" Advisory While Sharing Video Of a Man crossing a hanging bridge amid Torrential Rain and Furious water flow of a River in Arunachal Pradesh. Sharing the video on X Mr Rijiju said, "got this video of a man crossing traditional hanging bridge in Anjaw district, Arunachal Pradesh near tri-junction of India, China & Myanmar border." Mr Rijiju also informed that "Arunachal Pradesh received heaviest monsoon rain in the entire world." Kiren Rijiju also advised to remain "careful and safe" and also informed that "government will provide necessary support." At least 30 people have died in the northeast in the last two days following landslides and flash floods. On June 1, fourteen people have died across the region in landslides and flash floods. Assam, Arunachal, Meghalaya, Manipur and Mizoram have been affected by landslides and flash floods. At least 60,000 people have been impacted in 12 districts of Assam.
