Arjun Singh's autobiography reveals inside story of Bhopal gas tragedy
No one knew the inside story of the Bhopal gas tragedy of 1984 and Warren Anderson's release than Arjun Singh who was chief minister at the time. While giving a clean chit to the then PM Rajiv Gandhi that he didn't give him any directions about releasing Union Carbide head Warren Anderson, he does say in his soon to be released autobiography that at one of the hospitals that they visited, Rajiv Gandhi took him aside to brief him.
