Arjun Munda resigns as Chief Minister; Jharkhand Govt set to fall

Jharkhand plunged into political crisis today after Chief Minister Arjun Munda submitted his resignation to Governor Syed Ahmad. Mr Munda took the step hours after his coalition partner, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), decided to withdraw its support from the 28-month-long BJP-led coalition government.
