Apollo Hospital Kitchen Raided In Bengaluru: Expired, Stale Food Items Found
A food safety inspection at Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru's Bannerghatta has raised serious concerns after the FDA reportedly found expired and stale food items in the hospital kitchen. Expired rava, icing sugar, maida, bread, dairy products, methi leaves, pulses and frozen vegetables were among the items recovered. Misbranded pani puri packets and plastic chopping boards were also found, putting the spotlight on food hygiene and safety standards in hospital kitchens.
