Animal rights activists are disheartened over the Supreme Court order that upheld the Tamil Nadu government's law to allow 'Jallikattu', a bull-taming sport in the state. A Constitution bench of the Supreme Court dismissed a batch of petitions that challenged the validity of the law. PETA India, one of the petitioners said, the order has thrown the country to dark ages and makes the country look regressive in the eyes of the world.
