Andhra Bus Fire | TDP MP: "Death Toll Could Be Around 20, Only 19 People Brought To The Hospital"
TDP MP Byreddy Shabari, speaking to NDTV from the hospital in Andhra Pradesh’s Chinna Tekuru, described the horrific bus fire that killed at least 11 passengers. The bus, travelling from Hyderabad to Bengaluru, caught fire after colliding with a two-wheeler on a rainy morning. Reddy confirmed that many victims were trapped as the doors jammed, forcing others to break windows to escape. Around 19 survivors are being treated, while identification of the deceased remains difficult due to severe burns.
