Ten years after the bifurcated state of Andhra Pradesh was formed, it is still without a capital. Jaganmohan Reddy's YSRCP government reversed Chandrababu Naidu's TDP government decision to build Amaravati as a greenfield capital project and instead opted for a three-capital system that has run into legal trouble. Telugu Desam National Secretary Nara Lokesh told NDTV's Uma Sudhir in an exclusive interview that if their government comes to power in 2024, they will go back to working on Amaravati as the state's capital.
