Amit Shah's Huge Praise For Border Security Force

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday attended the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Border Security Force (BSF) Mooring Place at Koteshwar in Gujarat's Kachchh. While addressing the BSF soldiers, he lauded the importance and efforts of the BSF in safeguarding the borders. Remembering the late PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Shah said, "When Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the PM, he decided to go for a 'One Border, One Force' formula. As per this, the BSF (Border Security Force) was given the responsibility to guard the borders along Pakistan and Bangladesh...BSF has the responsibility of guarding the border with both Pakistan and Bangladesh. The vigilance of BSF is in line with both the borders and is also efficient. Out of all CAPFs, BSF is the only one that has the capability to protect water, land and sky...," he added. The Minister said, "While you (BSF personnel) are busy safeguarding the borders of the country, PM Modi is taking care of your families..."
