All about HUJI
The Harkat-ul-Jehad-al-Islami (HuJI) was established in 1992. The outfit's activities, however, were noticed in June 1996 after the Awami League came to power in Bangladesh. The outfit wants to establish an Islamic Caliphate. They have links with the Al-Qaida. HuJI was blamed for the July 2004 attempt on Sheikh Hasina's life, leader of the Awami League.
