Alaska Airlines Resumes Operations After Software Outage; Microsoft Alerts Businesses
Alaska Airlines has resumed operations after grounding its entire fleet of planes and those of a subsidiary because of a software outage for about three hours. Microsoft has issued an alert about "active attacks" on server software used by government agencies and businesses to share documents within organizations, and recommended security updates that customers should apply immediately.
