AIUDF To Challenge Assam UCC In Court; Calls It “Targeted Against Muslims”
AIUDF MLA Mujibur Rehman told NDTV that the party will move court against the Assam Uniform Civil Code, alleging that the proposed law unfairly targets Muslims. Rehman claimed certain provisions of the UCC are discriminatory and said AIUDF will launch a legal challenge against the Assam government’s move.
