Aishwarya Lekshmi, who played the role of boatwoman Poonguzhali in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan  2, opened up on her role and her journey during an interview with NDTV's Sam Daniel. When asked how she prepped for the role, Aishwarya Lekshmi said that she looked at old paintings and followed Mani Ratnam's directions.
