Air India AI2379: Did The Airline Downplay A Serious Technical Crisis?
Fresh questions are being raised over what Air India knew about the AI2379 Phuket-Delhi incident-and when it knew it.
A maintenance report generated after the aircraft landed in Delhi reportedly records multiple warnings at around 9:32 AM, including low pressure in the Green, Blue and Yellow hydraulic systems, autopilot disengagement and faults involving the elevator controls. Further warnings involving hydraulic fluid levels, emergency exit doors, the engine anti-ice system and another autopilot disconnection were also recorded.
