Air pollution is recognised as a major threat to human health worldwide. India was home to 11 of the 15 most polluted cities in Central and South Asia in 2021 as per the latest World Air Quality Report. Deaths attributable to PM 2.5 pollution in India have increased by 2.5 times over the last two decades, according to a report by the Centre for Science and Environment. An art exhibition, "Does the Blue Sky Lie?" by Khoj Studios brings forward the deceptive blueness of the sky and the toxic air we breathe.
